Today my hero is my husband.  Reflecting over the past couple of months with a broken ankle and then ankle surgery to repair the breaks my husband has been my shining star.  His unwavering love, support, and encouragement have been a wonderful blessing. As I clumsily hop from place to place on my crutches he is there by my side to make sure I don't fall.  He has cooked, cleaned, washed and dried dishes and clothes, and been my go-for guy constantly working to assure my comfort.  I am blessed to have him by my side everyday.  He is my hero and has been for almost 35 years.  Lucky me!
